Atlantec Engineers, PA is a professional engineering firm located in Raleigh, North Carolina providing plumbing, mechanical, fire-protection, and electrical engineering services. Our clients include architects, contractors, and local governments from Raleigh to the coast.

DAVID WHITNEY

Electrical

David is the president of Atlantec Engineers. David joined Jim DelPapa Jr. and his father James DelPapa Sr. in 1992 to form Atlantec Engineers. David and Jim Jr. share the management responsibilities for the day to day operation of Atlantec. David’s primary role is the supervision of the electrical design. David has a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University. David is married and has 2 grown children. David enjuoys travel, visiting his family, and running marathons.

JIM DELPAPA

Mechanical

Jim, an owner and founder of Atlantec Engineers, graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. The plumbing, mechanical, and fire sprinkler designs are prepared under his direction. Jim also has management responsibilities including client relations, project scheduling and coordination, accounting, etc. He has been working in the construction field since 1978 and in the engineering field since 1983. Jim is married and has five children. When not at the office, he spends his time hunting and working at the farm.

BRAD FELTS

Mechanical

Brad is a registered professional engineer in mechanical engineering practicing in mechanical, plumbing and fire protection designs. Brad has been a part of Atlantec Engineers since May of 1997 and licensed since 1999. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1995 with Magna Cum Laude honors. Brad enjoys spending time with his family, wife Frances and daughters Jenna and Sarah and dog Dixie. He is active in his church at First Baptist in Smithfield with Disaster Relief and Handyman Ministries. He is a member of the ASHRAE since 1994.

SUJIN PRAMOJANEY

Electrical

Sujin is a registered professional engineer in electrical engineer. He received a BS.EE. from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Thailand and a MS.EE. from New Jersey Institute of Technology, New Jersey. He has been with Atlantec Engineers since 1999. His interests are including power system, power generation, machine drive and fire alarm. He is married and has one daughter and one son. He enjoys spending his spare time to coach his children in Science Olympiad and FLL robot competition.

WENDY SHINDLEDECKER

Electrical

Wendy is an electrical designer and has been with Atlantec since 2002. She has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2008. Wendy has an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Keiser University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Business Law from Peirce College. Wendy lives in Southern Indiana on the Ohio River. She enjoys spending time with her family while working on their country home, boating, movies and reading a good book. Wendy is also active in her local church and community.

DENNIS DILDA

Plumbing

Dennis received an Associates degree in Mechanical Drafting in 1980 and started his career on the drawing board as a plumbing and mechanical draftsman. Over the past 25 years Dennis has moved from drawing board to AutoCAD. Along the way he has been a construction estimator for North Carolina State University, Assistant Vice President of Construction at Pulte Homes, and is currently a plumbing designer and a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.

HARRISON HOLT

Mechanical

Harrison is a registered professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University. Harrison was a Co-Op student with Atlantec Engineers for three years, and has been with us full time since graduating in 2016. Harrison specializes in Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design, and has LEED experience on commercial buildings. Harrison enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on the family farm.

MATTHEW BRILEY

Electrical

Matthew graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Since graduating, he has gained experience in power systems analysis, control systems integration, and electrical design. Matthew enjoys watching football, spending time with friends and family, hunting and fishing.

PATRICK MCCABE

Mechanical

Pat is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from NC State and will be designing plumbing and HVAC systems. Patrick gained engineering and AutoCad experience while working for Goodyear in Fayetteville. He enjoys being near the water, spending time with friends and family, and watching the Wolfpack kick some tail!
